Oscar Pistorius who shot his girlfriend at his home on Valentine’s day February 14th 2013 will be released from Kgosi Mampuru prison in two months time, after serving 10 months in prison, it has been revealed. After he leaves prison around August, he will be under house arrest.
However, Oscar’s murder acquittal is set to be appealed. Prosecutors have until August 17th to appeal a judge’s decision and take Oscar back to court.
Any release will not signal the end of case for Pistorius, who faces an appeal hearing in November after prosecutors won their bid to challenge the culpable homicide conviction and seek a murder trial instead
