Caitlyn Jenner - formerly known as Bruce Jenner wanted his oldest daughter aborted

 

In the newest issue of ‘Vanity Fair,’ Caitlyn admits that Bruce Jenner was married to his first wife Chrystie Crownover from 1972 to 1981, with whom he had two children, Burton and Cassandra but because things weren’t going well between them, they filed for a divorce.

He said half way through the divorce, Christie told him she was pregnant with his oldest daughter Casey and  because he had confused feelings about his gender, he had suggested she have an abortion. He also refused to be at her birth because he didn’t want her at that time.

At first, Bruce brought up the idea of an abortion, but “rejected it after 30 seconds.” He also told the July 1980 edition of Playboy that his “first reaction was that I didn’t want the baby.” Cassandra aka Casey, 34, told the magazine that she did not find out her father didn’t want her until she was 13.

She said: ‘I never knew he wasn’t at my birth until I was about 13 years old and we were arguing on the phone about money,’ she told the magazine. ‘He kept saying, “You don’t know the whole story”.

‘I hung up the phone and was asking my mom what he was talking about until she confessed the history behind my birth.’

‘Under the circumstances I could not even see myself being there,’ Jenner told the magIn the July 1980 edition of Playboy, Jenner had admitted: ‘My first reaction was that I didn’t want it’.

Chrystie also confirmed at the time that she had considered an abortion, but only because her husband wanted one.

This confession strained the relationship between Jenner and his daughter Casey but now things are getting better between two of them.’

It’s sad to hear that Bruce and Casey had a rough relationship during her upbringing, but on a positive note, Caitlyn now talks to her daughter, Casey, more than ever. “We now talk more than we ever have,” Jenner told Vanity Fair. “We can just be girls together.”

Bruce Jenner gets a lot of support from his ex wives for his transition

Bruce Jenner ex-wives have continued to show him plenty of support following his decision to become a woman. Bruce and 2 of his ex wives were seen pictured together on Instagram. His ex wife Linda Thompson who was married to Bruce from 1981 to 1986 posted a snap of Bruce with his arms around both her and his first wife Chrystie Crownover, with a link to a lengthy and glowing article she wrote for the Huffington Post about their lives together.

Linda Thompson who is Bruce Jenner’s 2nd wife posted the picture of the three of them on Instagram with the caption:  ‘It has been gently brought to my attention that I never personally shared the link to the Huffington Post abbreviated excerpt from my memoir in progress. So here it is. And thank you for your loving & kind response! #chrystiebruceandme.’

64 year old Thompson is the mother to his children Brandon Jenner, 33, and Brody Jenner, 31. In her Memoir, she said looking back at their time together there were no clues that Bruce was questioning his identity because he was very confident and seemed comfortable in his own skin, hence was shocked when he made a confession.

Chrystie is the mother to his children Burt Jenner, 36 and Casey Marino nee Jenner, 34.

She said he confessed to her when Brody was about 18-months-old and Brandon was about 3-and-a-half-years-old. “Bruce came to me one day with a very somber look on his face and said, ‘There’s something about me that I really need to tell you, something you need to know,"”

Thompson shared her shock when Jenner admitted to identifying as a woman, and questioned him extensively. “Bruce lamented, ‘I have lived in the wrong skin, the wrong body, my whole life. It is a living hell for me, and I really feel that I would like to move forward with the process of becoming a woman, the woman I have always been inside,"” she said.

Linda confessed that she tried to fix him because she thought he was only going through a phase so suggested therapy but it didn’t help the situation, so after 6 months of therapy, they separated.

She explained that even though she kept his secret she still loved him nonetheless.

A Kardashian insider said that while Kris was aware of Bruce’s female tendencies, she, like Linda believed it was a phase as well.

Thompson’s further stated: ‘Bruce has always had my loyalty, even if he wasn’t aware of it. I support his courage and commitment to this new chapter of his life. My hope is that his transition will inspire others who struggle with their identities, and my prayer is that humanity has evolved and been educated enough to exercise kindness toward those we may perceive as ‘different.”

Kris Jenner, Bruce’s last wife who is the mother to models Kendall Jenner 19 and Kylie Jenner 17, still hasn’t said much in regards to his transition, well, apart from her single sentence tweet.

Bruce Jenner was married to Chrystie from 1972 to 1981. Married to Linda from 1981 to 1986 then to Kris Kardashian Jenner from 1991 to 2015.
