Aww, Rapper Rick Ross bails out cellmates from jail

Aww, Rapper Rick Ross bails out cell mates

On Wednesday June 10th, rapper Rick Ross was arrested in Georgia after drugs were found in his car. He was taken to a county jail and booked. In his good deed for the day when Rick bailed himself out, he also bailed out his cell mates.

Via WSBTV:

Channel 2 Action News has learned officers stopped him in his Bentley on a window tint violation. The officer said when he opened the door, he smelled marijuana.

That’s when they say they found marijuana in the car, according to police.

Ross is currently being processed into the Fayette County Jail.

Ross was previously arrested in North Carolina in June 2014 after failing to appear at a hearing related to a previous misdemeanor marijuana charge. He was taken into custody after performing at Greensboro’s SuperJam Music Festival and later released on a $1,000 bail.

We have a reporter and photographer working to learn more about his latest arrest. Refresh this story and watch Channel 2 Action News starting at 4 for the latest updates.

The rapper decided to make hit up some of his old officer buddies and bailed out some jailbirds from the Atlanta jail after he bonded out:

Man rapes his 2 step daughters, infects both of them with HIV and gets 1 pregnant.

Man rapes his 2 step daughters, infects both of them with HIV and gets 1 pregnant.

A 60 year old rapist and paedophile has admitted to raping his two step-daughters and deliberately infecting them with HIV. He originally denied the accusations but is now awaiting sentence after changing his plea to guilty on the second day of his trial this week. He has since developed full-blown AIDS.

One of the girls was about 11 when she contracted the potentially deadly virus. Her sister was 14.

Now one of the girls, now 22, tells how she only found she had been infected during a  routine antenatal blood test when she got pregnant by her boyfriend. She said that moment of happiness turned to devastation when she found out. She knew immediately she had to try to save her younger sister, still only 12, from the same fate. But tests after her sister was removed from the family home by social services showed that she, too, had been infected.

Shockingly, their mother stood by the man as he accused the girls of lying. The daughter’s only relief has been that her diagnosis was early enough in her pregnancy for drugs to prevent the HIV being passed on in the womb, meaning her son was born free of the virus.

The older victim with her bf and son

This is her story:

“Mum came home one day in 2006 when I was 11 with a new man and our world changed forever. Within a couple of weeks he’d moved in with us and within a couple of months he was abusing me. My own dad had left when I was a baby and I never knew him. The dads of my younger sister and brother had both done the same, so we were always a single parent family. Now we suddenly had a stepdad I thought we’d be a real family.

At first I was right, and the new man treated me how I always thought I wanted to be treated. I was the eldest and I was used to the younger ones getting all of mum’s attention. But my stepdad bought me a new phone and clothes and gave me cash.

Then one day when I was 12, mum was in the kitchen doing tea when he told me to sit next to him on the sofa and suddenly kissed me. I was shocked and told him to stop but it only spurred him on. That was the start.

I’d been in the bath one night a few weeks later and he knew I’d be getting ready for bed so he came into my room. I tried to tell him to leave but he forced me down on to the bed and ripped my towel away before raping me. I had no choice. I was terrified.

After that, he made excuses for me to sleep in his bed with him every night and told mum to sleep with my little sister in case she had nightmares. He bought me a ring which he told me to wear like an engagement ring as if I was his fiancée, not his child.

Then one month I started getting bad stomach pains I was 13 and pregnant. He said I’d been sleeping around at school and made me have a secret abortion, then took the scan pictures from me.

Neighbours and family members suspected something was going on but my mum never believed it. Maybe if someone had listened it wouldn’t have happened to my little sister as well.

When the police and social services came to the house, I wanted to tell them what was happening but they only ever interviewed me in front of him and I was too scared to say. Now I wish I had.

When I fell pregnant with my partner’s baby I was happy at last but when the midwife said I was HIV positive my world fell apart. The abuse had stayed a secret for so long. In that moment everything came back to punch me in the stomach. I felt disgusting, dirty and inhuman.

I knew instantly I’d got it from him because just two weeks earlier he’d been rushed to an AIDS unit in London.

I remembered thinking I didn’t care if he died now I’m facing my own life sentence. I wasn’t just sickened by the things he’d done, but also by myself for being infected with this virus. I knew now it would all come out and it was a mixture of fear and relief.

I told my boyfriend to leave me and for his family to leave me alone. I felt sickened and disgusted by myself so I imagined they felt the same. But amazingly they said they still loved me and have stuck by me.

Now my mum’s partner has admitted what he did we can move on. But I take each day at a time and try not to think about what the future holds.

I always hoped and prayed he hadn’t got to my little sister, but once I knew what he’d done to my future I had to get her away from him. I couldn’t let him ruin my baby sister’s life like he had my own. I knew in that moment I had to make the police and social services believe what he had done.

When I heard her test results I filled with a rage like I’ve never felt. I was screaming and shouting, my boyfriend and his mum had to hold me down, I was just inconsolable. Who can rape a child and ruin their entire future by giving them one of the most dreaded diseases in the world?

He’d already given us both a life sentence mentally because we can never forget what he did but now he has given us a physical life sentence too.

At the moment my sister is too young to understand what she has or why she has it – she just knows she has “funny blood” but it’s only a matter of time.

When the time comes I’m the only other person in the world who will understand how she feels.

Police had to keep us apart when he was arrested to make sure we didn’t talk to each other to match up our stories.

When he changed his plea to guilty, I was relieved not just because of the result but because it meant I could see her again. Now all this is over I’m going to be there for her until the end.

When the abuse first started I didn’t tell my mum because I wanted to protect her. I thought if she knew she would blame me, or it would cause the family to break up and she would be sad.

But she took me to bingo one night when I was 18 and as we were getting on the bus suddenly I was really conscious we’d left my little sister alone with him so I told mum everything. I told her I was worried he would do it again. She said I was making it up.It felt like the biggest betrayal. I had plucked up the courage but she was choosing him over me.

I don’t have anything to do with my mum any more. We don’t live far away from each other so we still see each other at family events but I can’t forgive her for not believing me. I have my partner’s mum now, who is more of a mother to me. My sister has been taken into care so she has foster parents now.”

When the CPS discussed charges, they wanted to get him for giving us HIV but that falls under the bracket of GBH.

Rape carries a greater punishment so they went for that instead – but I think he should have got manslaughter.

He has put lives at risk for his own sick pleasure. He should never get out.

I’d tried so hard to put the rape and abuse behind me so that I could start my own family and have a chance at happiness. But now he has me right where he wanted me – with a life-long reminder of what he did to me.

All I wanted was to bond with my son and have the kind of family I’d missed out on because of the abuse and neglect.

But from day one, it was impossible. I had to have a Caesarean so I didn’t pass it on to him during the birth, then I wasn’t allowed to breastfeed.

From day one I was terrified of cutting myself or having even a little scratch and going near him in case I made him ill.

As he’s grown older it’s become even more heartbreaking. I see him take a tumble and graze his knee and my maternal instinct tells me to go straight to him and kiss it better – but I can’t.

I have to put on rubber gloves or let my partner or someone else go to him.

He is too young to understand so he just thinks I’m not going to help him. All of this is because of that man.

I live day to day and I always believe that if and when I get ill from the virus I will take it as it comes.

I’m grateful every day that I fell pregnant because the blood test probably saved me from getting much more ill.

I’m on medication so things are under control for now – and most importantly my son is happy and healthy.

He hasn’t got to my boy and now he never will.

The judge at Canterbury Crown Court warned him to expect an indeterminate sentence after he confessed to a string of crimes ranging from rape of a child under 13 to sexual assault and attempted rape.

A young lady identified as Um Haleema who was impregnated by a Boko Haram member while she was held captive by the sect for over a year has vowed to keep her 7 months pregnancy and birth her child despite widespread condemnation and threat from her kinsmen who feel it is unacceptable to keep the pregnancy. Speaking exclusively with CNN, Haleema said she was kidnapped when she was 16 years old and ‘married off’ to one of the sect members. She said while in the camp, she tried to escape but was caught.

“I had planned my escape from the beginning. There is a time my husband spent two weeks away, so I attempted to escape but guards returned me and beat me.” Haleema said she somehow found a way to escape on a day when the security in the camp was relaxed and she walked through the bush for days until she found her way back to her village where she discovered that her husband had been killed by the sect members and their home destroyed. She also discovered when she returned that she was 7 months pregnant. Haleema says she has been rejected by her kinsmen for being pregnant for a sect member and insiting on keeping the pregnancy. “People in this village are rejecting me because of the pregnancy. Some will be happy to have me dead. Many people are even saying that I should go for an abortion.” she said

It’s an option she refuses to consider, even though she says the men who live in her community have said they will not tolerate the children of Boko Haram living amongst them. She says they have threatened to kill both her and her baby.

Haleema’s mother who also spoke with CNN says the fear of death that could come from abortion has made her not to allow her daughter get one. She said a woman in her community whose daughter was kidnapped and impregnated by the sect members, died while undergoing an abortion

“We heard about one girl who died after she attempted an abortion, losing both the mother and the baby. The girl was the only child to her mother, so that scared us. If God wishes, she will give birth safely. Life is in the hands of God alone.”she said

A leader of the vigilante group in Haleema’s community denied knowing that she was pregnant but he however stated that the tradition in their community forbids the children of Boko Haram members living with them

“I am not aware of any woman in this village who was impregnated by them. If any woman is found to be pregnant, in our tradition, the pregnancy is considered Haram (unlawful), hence we cannot accept them wholeheartedly because they can be like baby snakes.”the leader said

High school student accepted to 26 Universities in the States, offered $3million in scholarships

High school student accepted to 26 Universities in the States, offered $3million in scholarships

It’s no secret that getting into college is growing more competitive and the cost for a college education is high.

But one graduating senior in Chicago doesn’t have to stress about it.

Arianna Alexander was accepted into 26 colleges – including six Ivy League universities – and was awarded a combined total of more than $3 million in scholarships.

Arianna graduated as valedictorian of her class at Kenwood Academy High School in Chicago, Illinois, and earned a 5.1 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.

“It was a lot to take in. I received emails, letters. It was just like, ‘Come here, come here!’ They were bombarding me with all this information,” Arianna told WLS.

Among all the acceptances were scholarship offers that mean Arianna can afford college and not worry about the cost.

Arianna was inspired to aim high with encouragement from her parents and seeing a previous Kenwood student awarded with about $1 million in scholarships. “I planted the seed in Arianna’s mind that you can do the same thing,” her father Pierre Alexander.

“So when the process got started and a million was achieved, let’s go for two. I said let’s go for three and she did it,” he added.

Dear NFer readers; My wife constantly complains that I don"t do the "little things’ that end up causing arguments

Dear NFers readers-

From a male NFers reader

Writes Matt

So my wife and I have had a few bouts over the past couple months (12 months married) about how “the little things matter most”. This concept is not strange to me, as I do sometimes cook, clean, and always get the door for my wife. Problem is though, she’s brought it up on more than a few occasions that I don’t leave her “cute little notes” or “surprise her with cute little gifts”… Translation – I’m not romantic and definitely do not pay attention to “the little things that matter”.

Really got me thinking. And this question has been ringing in my head: is it possible that only women who are getting all the “big things” (food, clothing, and shelter) complain about the little things?

She’s my wife, and she’s not asking for the moon, so I’m going to endeavor to do “the little things” anyways. Just trying to get other women’s take on the situation. Cos I’m just thinking, it’ll be a little hard for any woman to talk about cute notes and gifts if her husband can’t provide a roof or even food.

Dear Matt please don’t forget the “little things” that show love..lol

WTF? Doctor mistakes Tattoo ink for cancer, removes woman"s uterus, cervix, Fallopian tubes and pelvic lymph nodes

WTF? Doctor mistakes Tattoo ink for cancer, removes woman

When a California woman with cervical cancer underwent a body image scan, doctors noticed bright areas in her lymph nodes, suggesting her cancer had spread. But it was only after surgery to treat the cancer that they realized the real reason for those bright spots: her tattoos.

The 32-year-old woman with four children had recently been diagnosed with cervical cancer. In November 2012, her doctors requested the imaging scan to check to see if the cancer had spread (metastasized) to other parts of her body.

“Findings of possible metastatic disease on PET scans can certainly change management,” Eskander said. “We want to make sure that people understand that these false positives could arise in patients that have tattoos,” he said.

The researchers did find that the woman had a small number of cancer cells in one of her pelvic lymph nodes, a condition that doctors call a “micro metastasis.” But this micro metastasis was too small to have shown up on the PET scan, so it was only by chance that the doctors found it, Eskander said.

The type of scan the doctors wanted was a PET/CT fusion scan, which combines technology from both PET and CT scans, and requires that patients receive an injection of a radioactive tracer that makes tumors appear as bright spots on the scan.

The scan showed not only the woman’s cervical tumor, but also bright spots on the lymph nodes in her pelvis, which looked suspiciously like cancer metastases, the researchers wrote in their report of her case, published in the journal Obstetrics and Gynecology.

To treat her cervical cancer, the woman had surgery to remove her uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes and pelvic lymph nodes.

But when doctors later examined cells from the woman’s lymph nodes under a microscope, they saw that the cells contained deposits of tattoo ink — not cancer. The woman had more than 14 tattoos on her legs.

“Those lymph nodes that were lighting up brightly on the PET scan were doing so because of the tattoo pigment that was in the lymph nodes,” said study co-author Dr. Ramez Eskander, assistant clinical professor of gynecologic oncology at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, who treated the woman.

There have previously been reports of tattoo ink spreading to people’s lymph nodes and showing up on PET scans in patients with other cancer including breast cancer and melanoma. But this appears to be the first case reported in a patient with cervical cancer, Eskander said.

In this woman’s case, seeing the brightly lit lymph nodes did not change the doctors’ surgical plan, Eskander said. But it’s important that doctors are aware that extensive tattoos could look like cancer on PET scans, because this could change the way they treat a patient. For example, if a doctor is convinced that a patient has metastatic cancer, he or she may suggest that the patient undergo chemotherapy and radiation right away, rather than surgery, Eskander said.

The woman didn’t have any complications after her surgery, and she was allowed to leave the hospital after three days. She is now doing very well and doesn’t have any evidence of cancer recurrence, Eskander said.
