Manny Pacquiao still wants Floyd Mayweather rematch

The legendary boxer Manny Pacquaio, who reportedly made about $100m from his fight with Floyd Mayweather on May 2nd spoke at a press conference in Manila following his return home.

BBC Sport recorded Pacquiao’s comments:

“I will focus on healing my shoulder. After that, I will announce continuing my career or retirement,” he said. “I’m not saying I am going to retire, but it’s near. I’m already 36, turning 37 this December.”

The boxer was received to a hero’s welcome as he and his family returned to Philippine yesterday. See the photos below…

Pacquiao faces a potential lawsuit after failing to disclose a shoulder injury before his defeat by Mayweather. Above is a photo of Manny Pacquaio just two days after fighting and losing to Mayweather. His hand is in a sling as he prepares to undergo surgery on his torn rotator cuff. The US boxing commission is angry with him for not disclosing that he had a shoulder injury before the fight. They say he was dishonest, and he now faces a potential lawsuit from the commission. They say he also committed perjury when he signed the pre-fight questionnaire without revealing he was hurt..above..

Floyd Mayweather"s grandma says Manny Pacquaio needs to apologize for talking trash about her grandson

Grandma Mayweather — Manny’s Got to Apologize to Floyd for ‘Talkin’ S***!!! Why not you tell your chicken grandson to apologize for rigging the fight? Bernice Mayweather was leaving the MGM Grand in Vegas after the fight when she told reporters that there can be no post-fight friendship until Manny takes back all his trash talk about her Grandson who won the fight fair and square.

She said it was possible for Mayweather and Pacquaio to be friends under one condition..

“If he wanna be friends with him, he gotta accept Floyd; he gotta apologize. He talked all kind of sh*t. Talked so much sh*t, that he could whoop my grandson.” she said

She also assured that she knew her grandson would come through with the “W,” and praised her son, Floyd Mayweather Sr., for being hard on his son during the tough matchup. She was also asked about whether or not she would hit the strip club with the champion, to which she offered the perfect reply.

“I can go anywhere I wanna go, I’m a grown woman.”

Mike Tyson fires shots at Mayweather for comparing himself to boxing legend Muhammad Ali

A few days to his epic fight with Manny Pacquaio, Floyd Mayweather, who has never lost a fight in a all of his 47 professional fights, compared himself to boxing legend, Muhammed Ali, saying he’s a better fight than Ali.

No disrespect to Muhammad Ali, but he did it in one division. I just look at Ali’s career when he fought Leon Spinks and lost to a fighter with seven fights. There were some other fights he lost and he’s still known as The Greatest because that’s what he put out there. It is what it is.” Mayweather said.

“He called himself The Greatest and I call myself TBE (The Best Ever). I’m pretty sure I’ll get criticized for what I said, but I couldn’t care less. I could care less about the backlash.” He added.

Well, one boxing legend absolutely didn’t agree with him and launched an attack on Mayweather, calling him “little scared man” and “delusional”. What Mike Tyson said below….

 “He’s very delusional. He can’t listen. If he was anywhere near that realm of greatness with Ali, he’d be able to take his children to school by himself

“He can’t take his children to school by himself and you’re talking about he’s great? Greatness is not guarding himself from the people. Greatness is being accepted by the people.

“He’s a little scared man. He’s a very small, scared man.” Tyson said.

Tyson was at the fight last night…and said he believed Pacquiao would win
