Simon Cowell’s family ‘devastated’ at their mother’s death
Simon Cowell‘s beloved mother Julie Brett has died. The 89 year old passed away recently after a lengthy health battle. She died of a stroke. Simon is said to be devastated. X Factor auditions which were supposed to start today have been cancelled.
Cowell’s brother Tony said: ‘Very sad night tonight. We will all miss Mum so very much. She was the heart and soul of our family.’
Mrs Cowell was married to EMI music executive Eric, who died in 1999, aged 81. May her soul rest in peace, amen.
