After a 7-year hiatus, Janet Jackson announces ‘Unbreakable” World Tour


Janet Jackson Kicking off  ‘Unbreakable” World Tour  In Canada!


The superstar announces ‘Unbreakable” World Tour! After a 7-year hiatus from the music industry, singer Janet Jackson, 49, this morning made the official announcement about her Unbreakable World Tour and released some promo photos.

The first leg according to a press release which will be co-produced by Janet, will be a 36-date tour throughout the U.S. and Canada starting Aug. 31 in Vancouver, BC.  Shows are lined up in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco and more.


Janet also announced that her upcoming album will be out this Fall on Rhythm Nation Records.

Jackson will release her first album in seven years this fall through Rhythm Nation Records/BMG. The news was announced June 3, with the singer saying, “Thank you to the talented team at BMG, my new artistic home. The opportunity to be creative in music and every form of entertainment has great potential here.”
