1500 killed in massive earthquake in Nepal today
A magnitude-7.8 earthquake centered less than 50 miles from Kathmandu rocked Kathmandu region in Nepal this morning killing over 1500 people. Many buildings as well as historic sites were destroyed in the wake of the earthquake. This will be the second deadliest earthquake to strike Nepal since the one in 1934 which killed about 8,500 people. See photos from the disaster below…
