Malawians boycott all South African owned businesses in their country following the xenophobic attacks

All businesses owned by South Africans including Game, Shoprite, PEP and others in Malawi will be under lock and key today April 24th.


Malawians-boycott-all-South-African-owned-businesses-in-their-country-following-the-xenophobic-attacks-Nollywood-FreaksThe Consumers Association of Malawi (CAMA) executive director John Kapito has called for shoppers to boycott South African goods and services in protest against deadly xenophobic attacks. Malawians are now boycotting these businesses following the death of their citizen in South Africa. Two Malawians died during the attacks, many businesses owned by Malawians were destroyed and just 2 days ago, Wednesday April 22, 390 of them were repatriated to Malawi.
